Beyond Borders
When we speak about borders, we do not just have in mind political boundary markers that separate nations from one another. Humans tend to instinctively erect borders in our minds between ourselves and others. Sometimes these are based on religion, social status, lifestyle, or backgrounds. But since Christ broke down all the borders and barriers to form His people by saving all different kinds of individuals, we know that we are called to continue to go beyond borders to proclaim His message as His ambassadors today. We believe that nobody is “too far gone” and that no borders humanity can establish keeps Christ from saving His people, those who will trust in Him and come to Him by faith alone.
Practical Training
We work hard at Nelsonville Assembly to disciple (or train) in order to live out our mission effectively. This weekend event on February 22nd & 23rd, 2020 is for that purpose. This is an event for Christians designed to encourage and equip us to be more effective in our own outreaches personally.
Our Guest Teachers:
We will have Dr. Mark & Lynda Hausfeld as our special guests and teachers for this weekend. Their ministry experience includes having served as Pastors in the United States, Missionaries in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and as Area Directors of the Assemblies of God World Missions for the Central Eurasia region.
Dr. Mark Hausfeld currently serves as the President of PAK7 US (a media ministry to the church and people in Pakistan) and Professor of Urban and Islamic Studies at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary (AGTS). He served previously as the President of AGTS, Director of the Europe Muslim Diaspora Initiative, and the Director of Global Initiative: Reaching Muslim People.
Rev. Lynda Hausfeld currently serves as the Founder and International Director of “Say Hello: Serving Muslim Women” with Global Initiative.
