Nelsonville Assembly of God is a community of Christian believers gathering together to worship God, proclaim the Gospel in Northeast Missouri locally, and support Christian missions globally.

Our Mission

To make disciples who are growing together in the grace and knowledge of Jesus and proclaiming His Gospel and glory as their personal mission.

Christ Centered

We believe that Jesus Christ is our God and Savior. He saves by His grace alone as we come to Him by faith alone. We place the worship of Him at the center of everything we do in the church and in the community, that all glory would be given to Him.

Bible Believing

We believe that the Bible, in its entirety, is the ultimate authority for the Christian. We affirm that the Bible is inerrant (without errors) because it is inspired (spoken by God). As a church, all of our efforts should be driven by what God has said in His Word.

Praying

We believe that both personal and corporate prayer is essential to a healthy relationship with God. Talking with God is a great gift, so we pray passionately and persistently as we seek to know and serve Him.

Discipleship Driven

We believe the Holy Spirit transforms us through the message of the Gospel. We are committed to understanding and applying the Gospel to our daily lives so that that we can share that good news with those in our community and around the world.

Family Focused

We believe that God has a plan and purpose for every individual and group, including our church family. We want our church to be a safe place where individuals seeking community are welcomed, and where families with children of all ages are equipped to grow in their faith together.
